Testimony of Mara Nel, a retired employee of NBI

Having spent nearly two decades at mission stations in Transkei in the villages of Bambisana and Decoligny, I was called by the Lord in 1988 to join Bybelkor. It was an extraordinary privilege and an enriching experience to share the Gospel message through Bible correspondence courses in Xhosa and Zulu. Additionally, I had the opportunity to assist in translating Bible courses and marking tests, in these languages, allowing me to minister and provide guidance to individuals in prisons in their native tongue.

I am also immensely grateful for the incredible 29 years I spent at Nehemiah Bible Institute/Bible Media, located in the stunning Fergusson building in Wellington, surrounded by serene and beautiful gardens. Throughout the years, my colleagues have played a significant role in enriching my life in their own unique ways.

All the glory and gratitude go to the Lord, who works through imperfect individuals to accomplish His plans!

NBI is extremely grateful for Mara’s dedication to distributing materials to those who need support and spreading the gospel. Her steadfast devotion to the Lord is truly admirable.
