1. Who may enrol for this program?
Any person who would like to enhance their knowledge of the bible. This program will help you to gain a good understanding on how the bible and the relevant topics fit together. Participants only need to be able to read and write.
2. How does the application and registration work?
STEP 1
- Fill in the enrollment form
- Include a copy of your ID

STEP 2
- Registration will be processed and you will receive an acceptance letter
- Once you have received your acceptance letter, you can pay for your first module and send proof of payment
- Your study material will be sent to you
3. How is the program structured?
The Program consists of 15 booklets:
Module 1
- The Bible is the word of God
- Genesis: The origin of the creation, sin and salvation
- Exodus, Leviticus, Deuteronomy (To be saved in order to serve)
- Prophets: Their message and purpose
- The Prophets and their prophecies
Module 2
- Psalms: How to read poetry
- Wisdom Books: How to live with God
- Synoptic Gospels: The life of Jesus
- Synoptic Gospels: The teachings and ministry of Jesus
- Synoptic Gospels: The suffering and death of Jesus
Module 3
- John: To know who Jesus really is
- John: The work of the Holy Spirit
- Paul: To build up the church of Christ in faith
- Paul: Marriage and moral life
- Paul: Issues on church leadership
4. How is the program assessed?
For each topic there is an assessment, which consists of multiple choice questions and short answers and group discussions, for marking.
5. What are the objectives of the program?
The Sokhanya Bible Program wants to help you to:
- The basic bible training program, is written on entry level plain language.
- To gain proper and sound knowledge about the Bible and the Christian life by studying the Bible alone. By obtaining an overview of the bible, you will enhance your bible interpretation skills. This program covers the whole Bible. It does not give the teachings of a particular church or tradition.
- To grow spiritually strong by committing yourself to God so that you can serve Him fully. By understanding more about God and what He does for us, as the Bible teaches us, we grow in fellowship with God through the Holy Spirit.
- To be able to guide the church in the full truth of the Word and to protect it from false teachings and practices. You will build others up in their faith.
6. What do I obtain after completion of the course?
A certificate of completion will be issued by Nehemiah Bible Institute.
