Affiliates

NBI does partner with institutions and Bible schools that may not have their own curriculum or learning material. Through these partnerships NBI provides course materials that affiliates can utilize to apply for their own accreditation and teach their students.

Despite using NBI’s course material, affiliates maintain full independence in all aspects. Each affiliated institution is responsible for applying for its own accreditation, this means they must ensure that they meet the necessary requirements and standards set by the Quality Council of Trade and Occupations (QCTO) to get accredited.

In addition to managing their accreditation processes, affiliates are also in charge of their administration and the day-to-day operations of their institutions. This includes tasks such as student admissions, faculty hiring, scheduling classes, managing finances, and maintaining facilities.

NBI’s role in this partnership is primarily as a supplier of the accredited course material. We’ve ensured that the content provided is aligned with accreditation standards. This support enables affiliates to focus on delivering education without the added burden of developing curriculum from scratch.

NBI offers the 2 QCTO Accredited courses for Affiliates:

  • Occupational Higher Certificate: Christian Religious Professional NQF Level5, 237 Credits SAQA ID:101571
  • Occupational Certificate: Christian Religious Practitioner NQF Level2, 156 Credits SAQA ID: 101997
  • An affiliate is an institution or Bible school that has entered into a partnership with NBI, utilizing NBI’s accredited curriculum to offer at their campuses. This collaboration allows these affiliates to provide bible based and theological education without having to develop their own course materials. By implementing NBI’s curriculum that meet QCTO’s accreditation standards.
  • Contact NBI’s office to inquire about the partnership opportunities available. Our team will provide you with detailed information and answer any questions you might have regarding the partnership process. We will proceed by sending a copy of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), This document outlines the terms and conditions of the partnership and needs to be signed by both your institution/Bible school and NBI. The MOU will serve as a formal agreement establishing the framework for our partnership and ensuring a clear understanding of each party’s responsibilities and expectations.
  • As the affiliate begins the process of registering students, they can order additional copies of textbooks and other required materials from NBI. Also, they can order the books as they need without having to hold a lot of stock on hand.
  • The new affiliates will get first sets of textbooks and workbooks, which include both formative and summative assessments, along with detailed memorandums to guide the grading process. PowerPoint presentations of lessons for facilitators and logbooks for workplace experience.
  • NBI will also supply a detailed curriculum matrix to assist the affiliate with the process of obtaining their own accreditation. NBI will provide advice on achieving compliance with the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) standards.

It is possible NBI will assist with the following:

  • Registration of students to the institution.
  • Registration of students to QCTO.
  • Marking of formative and summative assessments.
  • Creating a file (portfolio of evidence) for each student for QCTO Quality Assurance Audit.
