NBI students wrote their first two QCTO NQF Level 5 accredited course exams on 1 June 2023, each consisting of 3 hours or more, which was a difficult task.
Through the exams, NBI staff was able to gain additional knowledge of the QCTO and ACRP procedures and processes.
What an inspiration it was to see 17 of our students walk into the exam room at ETTA Assessment Centre, in Brackenfell. One student accidentally cut his finger and received stitches the day before the exam, yet faithfully showed up and completed both exams, with his best handwriting. Despite finding the exam questions difficult, the students persevered until the end.
To our students: Our heartfelt congratulations on your achievements. While you await your results, we wish you every success in your future pastoral ventures. It has been a long hard road, but you have reached noteworthy progress. Use what you have learned through the course, by applying and influencing the communities and churches around you.
To those writing in November 2023: We wish you success with your studies.
Many thanks to Pastor Jean Coetzee and Dr. Stephan Smith from ETTA, for availing their exam assessment centre to us, and graciously providing our students with warm cappuccino’s!
